generate webp but not replacing them

hmmm? yes , they are combined into single option , as we don’t really see the reason or point behind it to have webp files but not using them

if you want to get this , you can enable webp replacement option , run image optm , once all images are finished ,t hen disable this option again , this way you will have webp but won’t use them.

the reason is that at the moment for some reason when I open a webP image on my site It loads the jpg with it. So it’s defeating the purpose of using less data and instead I have the webP and the jpg loaded whenever I click on the image.

But as it’s not easy to generate the webP later on I wanted to generate them but not use them .

Anyhow I think I’ll do it manually everytime I have the quota resets I’ll turn them on, pull images ,generate them and then turn them back off.

some method of loading images ,like by javascript or div tag or something that is not supported by plugin , but still , even just partially replaced , it should still give you some benefit
