Site is using a child of YITH Wonder (generated by BlueHost as part of the site’s automated onboarding). I am trying to populate a series of documents using a Query Loop in GenerateBlocks. The query populates fine in the edit page window, but when I look at the actual site it is blank. I can see a basic zero-height element in the Inspect panel when I look at the site. I am trying to assess if there is something tripping up GenerateBlocks that keeps it from showing/populating in the site. I am also checking to see if this has to do with the theme (on the parent theme’s forum).

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi there,

If you have any caching enabled on your site (page or server), you might want to try deactivating those first for debugging. Sometimes caching can affect the query loop output.

    Hello @alvindcaesar,

Thanks for the advice. I have turned off the caching and it has not made a difference with the issue. I have also cleared all site cookies and such from the browser.

    Thanks!

    Hi there,

What are the parameters you added to the query loop block?

    Hi @yingscarlett,

Today I went as bare bones as possible. I essentially had GenerateBlocks make the same Query loop as the native WordPress query loop block. It was pulling from the posts, no filters. At that level I was able to retrieve and populate the query. When I added a parameter (Taxonomies -> Categories) the loop no longer populates in the site (though it continues to do so in the edit window.

    Thanks!

I assume you’ve already assigned categories to those posts?

@alvindcaesar it would appear that they didn’t have categories assigned. The custom field that I created for “document_type” was showing up in the list, but it would not have specifically been a category. It is still strange why it would populate correctly in the edit and not in the site, but I now understand what the issue was and I believe that I have a good plan going forward for all but one issue that I am encountering.

As that remaining issue is a related, yet different, topic I will see if anyone else has had the issue and if not, start another thread.

Thanks for your help on this.
