Generated thumbnail not showing

    Hello,

    The plugin seems to be generating thumbnails okay, but for some reason the thumbnails aren’t showing in my category archive page. There is a missing image icon and when I inspect the image it appears to be looking in the wrong place?

    Example:
    The thumbnail is in the location = website.com/wp-content/uploads/06/04/pdffile-pdf.jpg
    But the category archive is looking in this location = website.com/pdffile-pdf.jpg

    Not sure why this is happening, all of my other posts display thumbnails fine.

    Thank you for reporting the situation.

    I think it is highly possibility that some custom function of your theme relate with this issue.
    I need more information for investigating it.
    If you are using a free theme, tell me about it. If not, send the archive.php (or category.php) and the functions.php in your theme. Also if you are using plugins related with category, tell me about them too.

    I’ve sent the files via the contact form as requested.

    The theme I am using is Uncode by Undsgn.

    This issue resolved with the advice by willfretwell.
    I added guid to the thumbnail metadata and it works.

    Can you please explain how you added guid to the thumbnail metadata? I have the same problem where my thumbnail is not updating after I regenerate.

    See in pdf-image-generator.php (ver1.4.9） on line 440.
    GUID is added to a thumbnail when this is created as an attachment.
    This action （add_attachment）　is triggered by generating/regenerating a thumb of PDF each time.

    Anyway, in ver 4.9.1.1, regenerate problem is improved.
    I think the issue is may not the same. If your problem is not resolved, make a new thread.
