It is not working for me on GP.

In what way is it “not working”? I have used Elementor with GeneratePress on many sites and the two work very well together.

Ditto, I use both GP and Elementor.

o.k. it “does not work with GP” …

it would be really helpful to specify WHAT exactly doesnt work, or what the issues are … messages etc.

at the end i am really confused about naked statements like “does not work” in general – in this case especially because ive rarely (not to say ‘never’) encountered a less pita combination like GP and elementor!

so how should anyone help with what???

Let me clarify…The plugin as in Elementor, does nothing at all when being coupled (as in used with) the WordPress Theme GeneratePress.. or GP. I apologize for not spelling it out but there were no nuances, it simply did nothing. The plugin (Elementor) installed and activated without mar yet when I attempted to use any of the “add sections” it simply did not work. I happen to use Elementor on 4 other sites without fail so I was simply countering the remarks that it worked with GP because it does not. I have tried it with 3 different projects (again, I will clarify “it” being the coupling of GP and Elementor) and the same thing happens which is nothing. I truly do not understand your snarky response that you cannot understand what that means but I hope I was able to clarify it further for you. Perhaps if you have specific detailed questions regarding other than what I have stated you may get the insight you crave. Once again I use Elementor VERY successfully on 4 different sites – none of which are GP because the 3 I have tried thus far have not worked beyond installation and activation.

i dont know why it wont work, because using this pair for a few projects now and everything works very fine!
so for there must be something you did in a different way ragarding those times it worked (or maybe different enviroment etc.)… if you have a chance to find out what this might be, you probably have the solution in your hands. but i fear theres no way to help out with that from distance.

one more thought: elementor is loading, but does not add sections – right? so maybe you have a chance to find out if there are any messages or errors by using the developer tools of your browser?

When you do so, what is happening? Does it not add the section to the layout when you click Add Section? If not, that is indeed very odd. Have you tried to use the Add Template? Same result?

I am quite curious about this behavior because as I mentioned before, I have successfully used the GP + EL combo on many, many sites, local on XAMPP as well as hosted on various hosts. I also have created a number of tutorials on using this combination. That is why I am perplexed with your specific situation.

GeneratePress (with child theme) and Elementor works just perfect for me.
