    Hi,

Recently I found that *.svg.webp.crashed (size 0) exists in my webp folder after uploading svg file as normal. I can provide these information:
1: I have used this plugin for a long time, this file never exists before.
2: other png, jpg converting functions works normally.

    Thank you!

    Hello @truxton,

    Thanks for your message.

I checked now and after adding the SVG file to the media library nothing like this happens.

Can you try adding the SVG file to the media library and see if the bug is in the current plugin version?

    Best,
    Mateusz

    Hi,

    I tried these:
1: downgrading imagemagick version from 7.10 to 7.0.x, and imagick from 3.6.0 to 3.5.7
2: downgrading this plugin from 4.0.2 to 3.2.4

Still does’t work. So I tried webp converter 3.0.0, found that it does not generate .svg.webp.crashed files.

Since there are many versions between 3.0.0 to 3.2.4, I don’t know which version is the nearest version that causes this problem.

@truxton Is the current version causing the problem? I mean version 4.0.2.

    Hi,

Yes, 4.0.2 is causing the problem.

    Hi,

After testing on different versions, I found that .svg.webp.crashed files begin to appear starting from V3.2.3 (versions under V3.2.3 work fine).

@truxton Forgive me, but I don’t know how I can help you. I am using the latest version of the plugin and have no problem with this.

Are you able to deactivate other plugins and see if the problem also occurs without them?

    Hi,

I deactivated all the plugins except this plugin and SVG support, and the problem still occurs.

@truxton This is a very valuable tip. Thank you for your commitment.

I have prepared a new plugin version that should fix this problem:
    https://mattplugins.com/files/webp-converter-for-media-4.0.3.zip

Please tell me if everything works now. If so, I will add this change in the next plugin update.

    Hi,

yes, .svg.webp.crashed files do not appear in 4.0.3; I switched to 4.0.2 and the file appears again. Thank you!
