• After having a ton of trouble with MailChimp for WooCommerce and a re-sync that took 5 days to complete (8000+ past orders and 5000+ customers), I decided I needed a change in my woo email and automation strategy.

Jilt was pretty easy to set up and automation emails setup in Jilt disable native emails automatically. My store synced with Jilt in about 10 minutes. The design interface isn’t terribly robust, so that helps keep it simple and rollout can happen in about 30 minutes with pre-crafted messages that you can customize. Support has indicated that a more robust design interface is in store for the future, but the handful of widgets are more than enough to generate well-designed emails.

You can set up rules to automate emails for various events. I’ve set up abandon cart emails, new customer emails and review requests emails as well as started running my newsletter through Jilt. In 3 weeks of use, I’ve generated about $3000 in additional revenue from the system or about 15% of my monthly revenue.
