Generating spam email

  • I am having issues with my outgoing email. It looks like my IP address has been blacklisted and I’m thinking it’s connected to either WP Email Capture or Easy SMTP.

    I initially installed WP Email Capture but found that the majority of Verification Emails were never delivered because they were interpreted as spam.

    So I followed your advice and installed Easy SMTP which worked for about 24 hours and then threw an error.

    So I have deactivated both plugins.

    Since then it appears that my IP address has been blacklisted and emails particularly to those who had tried to sign into my website are not been delivered.

    Can you advise?

    I’m surprised that your account has been blacklisted. We do run checks on sending emails, so something else has been up.

    What was the error thrown?
