Generic Form Type

  • Hi Ultimate Member creators,

    I have a suggestion.. could you guys possibly create another Form type to be used for Profile Tabs?

    Right now having Registration, Login and Profile forms.. it is limited especially when we want to further categorize the Profile fields into different sections.

    Any indication you can reconsider the above proposal?

    Hi Yeelon,

    We won’t be adding generic form functionality to UM as we want to avoid feature creep and keep UM focused on its core functionality.

    Ok noted. If I may ask… any idea how I can possibly create an additional new form type using UM plugin? Any guide?

    That is not possible. UM code was only created to have forms for profile, login and registration. Best to use another form plugin to add generic forms e.g ninja forms.
