Genesis child theme widgets aren't working

I know nothing about code, so I hired one of your recommended developers. When Genesis updated (before I even installed the update) all of my footer content vanished from the front end (still visible in my dashboard). Also, I can’t change any of my widgets. I make changes and save them, but the changes don’t appear on my site: https://plentyplace.com
