Genesis eNews Extended Issue

  • I just installed the eNews widget and linked to Mailchimp. When I test for the error message by clicking the submit button it takes me to a separate page instead of showing an in-line error message to type in the email. I followed Carrie Dills screencast demo for how install with mail chimp so I’m not sure what is going wrong. Please assist!

    Can you send me a link to your site? The inline validator will only fire if an e-mail address isn’t entered—it’s something that the browser provides.

    If there’s an e-mail address, at least one that the browser thinks is an e-mail address, it’ll pass it to MailChimp, which will display an error on a separate page.
