Geo-targeting ???

    Hi , when I read this on your FAQ :

    “” How can I add links to different Amazon sites in my blog?
    You can search products using keywords in any supported country, but you have to join the Associates Program in those countries separately to be able to do this. For example – If you are a blogger in UK interested in linking to Amazon.com (US) site, then you will first need to join the Amazon Associates Program in US to be able to search for products on Amazon.com site.””

    Well after reading this I assume geo-targeting should be available , providing the affiliate has affiliate accounts in different Amazon countries ????

    But on the other hand I am reading (in the Operating Agreement …. I guess I read there … ) it is NOT allowed to change the affiliate links using any “engineering style” … Isn’t that Amazon is forbidding to use geo-targeting in any way ??? Or ???

    Guess many people interesting in this issue
    I and I guess many other people would be interested in a quick reply & clarification in using terms from this otherwise welcomed plugin.

  • Yes, I’d love to know this as well.
    This is my Number 1 requirement for an Amazon plugin: geotargeting to redirect to most appropriate Amazon (.com, .ca, .co.uk, etc) so I can make affiliate commissions when possible.

    Please clarify if this plugin can redirect users to the appropriate Amazon store (assuming an affiliate account has already been created for each of the stores.)

    It’s all up to Amazon …
    change their terms & allow affiliates to “engineer” the links and allow to geo-targeting using a number of solutions available right now
    All up to Amazon … Thumbs Up !

    Does the plugin actually support geotargeting?

    I’m also interested in this point. It’s the whole reason I was interested in this plugin. I’m disappointed that after 1 month 1 week, no one has provided a response!

    Hoping geo-targeting will work out of the box and respect existing links , and will also work from frames & widgets .

    And the “add on cart” button , allowing affiliates a 90 days cookie ???
    Should be included I guess , well I do hope , plse Amazon leave a comment here, WordPress community would appreciate ! Thanks
