Geocoder for Leaflet Map

“So far” you are correct. Geocoding is done server-side. An option could be to create a json endpoint, and incorporate the PHP Leaflet_Geocoder class. I’m not sure what that would look like. Important part would be to cache the results to the database.

While i read your plugins “readme” it is possible to add leaflet plugins. Might it be a solution to add the leaflet-control-geocoder (https://github.com/perliedman/leaflet-control-geocoder) as a quick solution (Demo here: https://www.liedman.net/leaflet-control-geocoder/)
