Since the update to version 14.11.2 I’m getting a daily mail about successful GeoIP update.
The next update is always scheduled to the next day, even though the setting says “monthly” update.
How can I fix the update interval?

    Hi @maltmann,

Could you please try deactivating and reactivating the “Schedule Monthly Update of GeoIP Database” option by navigating to Statistics > Settings > Advanced Options?

Afterward, kindly use a plugin like WP Crontrol to verify the interval. The hook name to look for is wp_statistics_geoip_hook. Please refer to this image for guidance: https://i.vgy.me/ESBfwv.png.

    Thank you!

    Regards,

    Thank you.
I did de+reactivate scheduling, and it now shows Dec 1st instead of Nov 12th (tomorrow).
I’ll check back on Dec 1st to see if the next schedule is set correctly then.

Interestingly, this did only happen on one of my sites.

    Dear @maltmann,

Thank you for letting us know!

If the GeoIP update is scheduled for Dec 01, it indicates everything is functioning as expected.

    We appreciate your continued support!

    Regards,
    Matthew
