GeoLite2-Country.mmdb “big file” never completes

  • 1. My website has a GeoLite2-Country.mmdb file which never completes when I create/update a clone test site with WP-Staging plugin.

    2. I am also unable to update two major plugins- Toolset Types and Yoast SEO Premium both of which are registered, yet I am able to update other plugins.

    3. I have also had timeout problems when updating UpdraftPlus as well as simply backing-up my site with UpdraftPlus – during the copying of files it timeout.

    4. After updating my test site clone I can see the following message:

    Trying to copy big file: /data/55/5/555/55/5555555/user/6666666/htdocs/wp-content/wflogs/GeoLite2-Country.mmdb -> /data/55/5/555/55/5555555/user/6666666/htdocs/mytestsite/wp-content/wflogs/GeoLite2-Country.mmdb

    When in my hosting account I see this file in my File Manager section. It is the same size 3.3 MB.

    Is this file causing my upload timeouts?
    Is this a bad file and do I need to delete it in my hosting account File Manager?
    Please Advise

    Is it malicious?

    Hmm. Never seen a file end with .mmdb but then again I am a noob in these parts.

    Anyways, any insight would be much appreciated.
