Geolocation is not compatible with multi state taxes

I setup PBC on a store selling internationally based in India and have entered prices with taxes. Default customer location in Geolocation.
The issue is that we have 2 different taxes for India – one for the base state and then another for outside state. When I use geolocation, it identifies India correctly but not the Indian state, hence price is displayed without taxes on product page. When the customer selects the state in cart, only then the taxes are updated.
I have setup a Pricing zones > Outside India, and checked “Do not adjust taxes based on location” using geolocation. For IP outside India it displays prices in USD without adjusting taxes but for Indian customers it shows prices in INR without taxes.
Any ideas how to get Indian state information using geolocation so that prices can be displayed with taxes on the product page?

The Geolocation feature of WooCommerce only detects the country. This function does not detect the state. But you can solve the issue by setting a default tax row for India using the * in the state field:
