Geolocation map showing in wrong area

Have recently tried the Geolocation plugin on my test site (https://www.chemicalnewsletters.com/J4test/2010/09/testing-geolocation/) and the map does not show just below the link as the demos suggest. What does happen however, is that the page suddenly grows beneath the footer when you mouse over the link and the map appears in the bottom right corner of the window (which I have seen by reducing the size of the site on screen).

Has anyone seen this issue before? How can this be prevented?
