Geolocation not working since update

I’m pleased to inform you that we have resolved the GeoIP issue in the latest update. You can now use this feature by updating the plugin to version 5.2.1.

Please go to the Settings – Tracker section after updating, then update the GeoIP Database Update Source field and make sure to click on the Save Changes option to apply the new updates and fix the problem.

Why did you delete two posts here? The problem is not solved. I have the same problem on three websites.

I deleted both maxmind files (years used and works). Tried the downloaded files from the manufacturer page and manual upload. And of course he used the administration as it was written here. Unfortunately, I don’t have flags, countries, etc.

It seems that the two previous messages have been deleted by WordPress. We did not delete them.

I also edited my post and added that I got it working when deleting the files again and choosing JSDelivr instead of MaxMind. With that, flags were back. Maybe that helps with fixing.

Maxmind new/renewed key – the last woked for long years and now , on slimstat reatime screen, shows UNKNOWN

Changing to “Use the JsDelivr” helped me too. Other options and downloading again, no.

5.2.3 version updated a few minutes and everything looks good and working fine now!
