Geolocation support

  • Dear developers,

    thank you for developing such a nice plugin. We purchased the premium version, but to be able to serve our customers well and dont loose a lot of them, we need our website to show the shipping date according to their location. They need to see it without the need to change their country automatically.

    Does the plugin support geolocation? If not, would it be possible to implement? It is crucial for us (and I assume for a lot of customers), to be able to continue using your plugin and pay for updates/support.

    Hi,

    Plugin does support geolocation of the woocommerce, but IP basd geolocation can only detect zones that are based on the user Country (If zones are based on states and city then woocommerce can not detect user zone)

    You have to make sure that you have configured the Woocommerce MaxMind API Key inside Woocommerce > settings > Integration

    and make sure you hae set Default customer location as Geolocation in (Woocommerce > General > Default customer location)
