Geomashup conflicting with Nextgen-gallery: Maps Not Showing

My maps have stopped appearing.
I have found that if I disable the NextGEN Gallery by Photocrati plugin my maps appear.
I recently did the following updates:
GeoMashup from 1.4.8 to 1.7.2
NextGEN to 2.0.40Any advice as to why these plugins are conflicting?
