German language

  • Hi, some parts are not translated to german (e.g. Buttons “Want to modify your reservation?” and more).
    Can I help myself?

    Hi Stefan,

    That text is already localized and included in the .pot file, so you should definitely be able to translate it. If you mean that a translation for that text is not included in the German translation file that comes with the plugin, that might be the case. All translations are provided by users and we cannot guarantee that they are either complete or accurate. If you wanted to edit the existing translation file or create a new one, you could use the Poedit program to do so.

    The complete German Text is there:
    wp-content/plugins/restaurant-reservations/languages/restaurant-reservations-de_DE.mo

    Why it can not be turned on? The german text excists already.

    That file will automatically be used as long as you have your site set to that exact language. If it is, and the translations are not showing, then perhaps the translation file itself needs to be updated (for changed line numbers, etc.). If you wanted to edit the existing translation file or create a new one, you could use the Poedit program to do so.
