    Hello All,

I really love your plugin and want to use it even more in the future. But unfortunately there is no German translation which make it hard to work with it. So I have a few questions, need help with a few things and hope you can help me:
    1. The Validation messages of the fields in a registration form (e.g. password matches with retyped password) are in English. How can I hook them and translate it to German?

    2. The Activation Link sent to the user after he registered which contains the activation link is also in English. How can I hook it to change the message in German and also the Subject?

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Best,

    Jannis

    Hello @1jd123 !

    Hope you’re doing well today!

Forminator is actually fully translated to German at the moment – to get the translation, you’ll need to set the language to German in Settings >> General and then update translations in Dashboard >> Updates (at the bottom).

Additionally, each filed set as required will have an option in the Settings tab to set a custom error message if the default one doesn’t fit your use case.

The activation emails are also based on the language settings in Settings >> General – after switching to German those should also be sent in German.

Please try the above steps and let us know in case there’s any issue.

    Warm regards,
    Pawel

    Hallo Pawe?,

my wordpress environment is already in German but no option to update the plugins language to German.
So the Problem is still the following:
A new user gets 2 Mails: The first one, which is the one which contains the activation link, right after registration. I want to edit the subject of this mail, as well as the text and if possible the link. At the moment the link looks like https://www.der-steuerzahler.de/?page=forminator_activation&key=764cdf7e08af0a2d and I would love to customize it.
Can you please help me with this?

    Best regard,

    Jannis

    Hallo Pawl,

I searched for a possibility in the Forminator plugin to change the error message, “your password don’t match” but I can’t find it anywhere

Another quick note. Is there a possibility to redirect a user who submitted a form?

    Hi @1jd123

I hope you are doing well.

For some languages it has some pending translation string, you can help in the plugin translation from https://translate.www.ads-software.com/projects/wp-plugins/forminator/

Another option is using the Loco Translation plugin https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/loco-translate/ Those strings are included on PO/MO files so should be translatable.

About the link, it is not possible to customise but we are working to remove “Forminator Form” from the link making it more generic.

Another quick note. Is there a possibility to redirect a user who submitted a form?

Yes, you can find the redirect option in https://wpmudev.com/docs/wpmu-dev-plugins/forminator/#after-submission

“I searched for a possibility in the Forminator plugin to change the error message, “your password don’t match” but I can’t find it anywhere

Can you send a screenshot of this?

I tried to replicate this warning but couldn’t find it.

    Best Regards
