    Hi all I am helping develop a contact form on this site and no matter how many times we add the correct ü and ? symbols etc the plugin is not able to display it correctly, it ends up looking like this ??

    The site is mainly used by German speakers so we need this to work on our form.

    The wp-config file is using define(‘DB_CHARSET’, ‘utf8’);

    The database has utf8mb4_unicode_ci

    Can anyone lend some wisdom over this issue? Is it something to adjust in the plugin contact form 7, can it be resolved somewhere else?

    Thanks! A, xoxoxo

    Update, I think I discovered whats going on.
    The Contact Form 7 Skins visual editor is not converting the pasted ? into the html form. Therefore if I manually edit it in the form and save it, then it is resolved.
