get _date into custom field of jetpack crm

hi,
i have been struggling with the jetpack crm and contact form 7 plugin: i am trying to get the _date variable [hidden today_date _date] not only through to the email templates but also have it entered in the jetpack custom fields. in jetpack crm i already have setup a custom variable “_date”. the label shows up in the custom field list, but not the actual value that is generated on submitting the form. can anybody help me with this?
