Get a dedicated /archives page?

  • See Pages, especially Pages#Page_Templates and all the rest on that Codex page…
    and once your “Archives” Page template is created, put the code into it. Create a Page from the admin panel using the new template (don’t write anything into it) and you are done. If you are using nice permalinks you’ll have an archive page like yourdomain.com/archives
