    Hi,

Great plug-in, and the addition of images is what makes this stand out. One thing I’d like to do is get the RSS feed URL of my combined feed. How do I do this? I’m wondering if it’s possible to pick up the category feed? I notice that feed categories are different to normal WP categories so I assume this uses a custom taxonomy.

    Thanks.

    Hi @demonboy,

Thanks for choosing Feedzy, we’re glad you like it!

It’s possible to add multiple feeds in the same import job. You just have to enter the URLs in the source field and after you run the import job, posts from all the feeds added will be imported. It’s also possible to set categories for the feeds and you can find out more about this feature here.

    Have a nice day!

Hi @luciamarinescu, thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately that did not answer my question. I’m after the feed address of my combined feed.

I should add that the category trick does not work. If I have a feed category called ‘food’, I cannot retrieve the feed from

    https://mywebsite.com/catgory/food/feed/

I assume this is because Feedzy categories are not categories but special fields or some other taxonomy.

    Hi @demonboy,

I think there is confusion about the purpose of Feedzy Categories. Feedzy categories are used to group feeds so you can easily use a group of feeds for a single import job, those are not related to WordPress categories in any way.

You can use WordPress categories when configuring import job and manually add those that you want to be used when items are imported but they should already be pre-created in your WordPress instance.
