GEt notifications when a user edits his profile details

i edited my functions.php according to this https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/notify-admin-when-user-updates-profile-2?replies=16 thread.It works when i did any changes from my admin(dashboard) but i need to get it done when a user edits the profile from his profile page can anyone guide me to get this done? i intend to use the UPME plugin for this! Lets say my profile fields are generated from this plugin!
