    I can’t get it into maintenance mode. I have tried several plugins. None of them work. For my life, I cant figure it out. Can someone help me?

  • Add an index.php file to the folder WordPress is installed in. You can make it say anything you want.

    could be a problem with your cache –

    try to disable the cache before trying the maintenance plugins again.

    @alchymyth I disabled WP Rocket and it went into maintenance mode. Thanks for your help. –jeff
