Get Recent Posts calls for Pages Instead

I’m using MTdewVirus’s Get Recent Posts plugin.

I’m using this in my index.php.

‘<?php c2c_get_recent_posts(5); ?>’

But the static pages are being called. Anyone have any ideas?
