Get rid of box & text on slider images

    I would like the slider on my website to only display the photos, without the grey boxes and the text. How can I achieve this? I have tried a couple of things with custom css, such as the one below, but nothing has worked.

    .slideshow .slide-info {
    display: none;
    }
