Get Rid of “Click here to get Data!

  • Since the last update, the dashboard widget became useless. It just shows a button “click here to get data” and you always have to click to get the statistics. Thats really annoying!

    Thanks for reaching out and providing feedback.
    I hope to clarify a bit as to why we have that “get data” button. It was implemented in order to keep the amount of calls coming from our Google API key. In the past we have had issues with our data not being able to be pulled at all because of the limit, this feature was used to prevent that from happening.

    hhhmmm… Yea, I can imagine that on every page reload pulling data is a bit too much. anyway, the solution now is not helpful at all and the widget became useless. Probably an other soution, like pulling data only once a day and buffering them locally in wordpress might be a solution.
