Get rid of “my gallery”

    Hi,
    We want site visitors to be able to upload images to a gallery but don’t want or need them to log into a user account.
    My Gallery page requires a login and we don’t need anyone to be able to manage their photos.
    Therefore we don’t want My Gallery to appear after a user uploads a photo, but it’s on the page that redirects after someone uploads an image. When I edit the submission form page, there’s no shortcode for Post Again or My Gallery. How can we get rid of that?

    Currently UPG-PRO members can redirect to desired page after form is submitted but there is no option to hide “My Gallery” & “Post Again” button.
    I am sure in future you will have option to hide it, but currently there is no such option available.

    OK, so I bought Pro and configured the redirect page, and now i”m getting errors whenever uploading. We need to get this out there ASAP, this is for a virtual school event on Friday since all schools around here are closed.

    Everything was working fine, we just needed to redirect because it makes NO sense to have a My Gallery page when we can toggle off the requirement for users to log in to post. If they don’t have to have a user account to post, they can’t view the My Gallery page. The My Gallery page requires a login. So we purchased Pro so we could redirect as you suggested. After installing, and configuring a redirect page, we now get this error:

    Error: SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0

    I have tested this repeatedly and if we have a redirect page set, this happens. If I set redirect page to No Redirect, it works fine.

    I will look for errors and get back to you.

    Till then turn off ajax submission, it will get redirected to page.

    Redirection will not work for ajax enabled form and you will end up with
    Error: SyntaxError: Unexpected token < in JSON at position 0

    To make redirection work ajax submit should be turned off.

    I will email you directly – but I did turn off Ajax, I unchecked the box directly above the redirection page selection, but still got the JSON error….

    Those settings are for [upg-post] page.

    If using [upg-form]. Set parameter as [upg-form ajax=”false” ……………….. ] and rest attributes leave as it is.

    Or
    Use [upg-post] to control it from upg settings.
