I like PhastPress as it’s 1 of the best plugins I’ve used so far.

But what I’d like to know is how do I get rid of the banner in my admin dashboard that says this???

"Thank you for using PhastPress. Optimizations are on. Go to Settings to configure PhastPress."

I’m asking because it shows up on every page I go to in my admin dashboard.

Any help with this issue will be appreciated.

    Thanks for your feedback.

There should be a little gray cross at the right of the banner, that you can use to close it.

Let me know if that solves the issue.

It doesn’t solve the issue which is why I started this thread LOL.

I can click the little gray cross on 1 page and it’ll come back on the next page…

Actually, I see we’ve got the same issue in the latest version. I’ll fix it and let you know when it’s done.

    Aight then.

So I don’t have to send login details???

    Nope.

There is a new version online now, 1.8.4. Download here.

When you have updated, the issue should be fixed.

When everything works correctly, we would appreciate if you left a review here. Thank you. ??

Here’s why. I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us asking you to repeatedly stop before escalating up to the plugins team.

It is not necessary for you to do that.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.
