Get rid of Visual Editor, keep HTML Editor

    Hi!

    I have a problem which I can’t get rid of since updating to WP 5.0…before I had the “Disable the visual editor…”-checkbox in my profile activated and could work just with the HTML-tab of the editor. Now when I check “Disable the visual editor…” for some reason I am left with the Visual Editor, which messes up my code. Anybody got an idea how to get rid of this visual editor and leave me again only with the html-editor?

    Hi Joe, not sure what might be happening, but it sounds like a possible issue with caching. I would check any cache plugins, and then also clear your browser cache and cookies and try again. Hopefully it does the trick.
