Regarding “status update” I’m sorry but we don’t have more options than enable/disable from GamiPress->Points types/Achievement/Ranks->BuddyBoss Member Activity.

Regarding to modify the size of the images of the achievements you will have to use a plugin that allows you to modify the size of the images, you can use Resize Image After Upload. https://es.www.ads-software.com/plugins/resize-image-after-upload/
