    Hi there,

I’ve just downloaded Membership 2 to test a demo for a client so we can check the setup works for what we need it for before potentially investing in a paid plan. I’ve set up two Subscription Plans and three Access Levels but now when I go to add another Access Level I get a wordpress error page saying ‘Are you cheating?’ – It says I can create as many levels as I want? Is this a plugin restriction or an error with the plugin? Any support would be much appreciated as this planning and testing is crucial as to whether we use the plugin and it looked to have so much promise!

    Thanks in advance.

    Sofi

    Hi Sofi,

Sorry to hear you’re having such issues with the plugin, by the explanation you provided it seems to me you’re using older version of the plugin.
Can you tell me which version you have installed?

    Cheers,
    Predrag

Hello @allismachine, I trust you are doing well today!

From the description of the issue, it looks like you are using Membership 1 plugin. When the plugin is installed for the first time, it loads the Membership 1 plugin.

To switch to Membership, go to Plugins > Installed Plugins or from Membership > Memberships, and switch to Membership 2 by clicking on the button like is it show at the attached screenshot:

After this, navigate to Membership 2 and import the data from the Membership 1

Let me know how it went!

    Kind regards,
    Nastia

    Hi Sofi,

If you don’t want to wait for message to re-appear you will need to reset it from DB directly I’m afraid.

In your DB search for m2 and it should show only one result in your wp_options table, remove that and now when you visit your site you should see the update message again.

Make sure to have backup ready before making any DB changes.

    Cheers,
    Predrag
