Get The website url through plugins

Howdy,

I have recently written my first plugin at https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/ec-authorizenet/. I wanted to add some code to this plugin for sending me the address of the website currently using this plugin. For this, I wanted to know is it legal and/or good to get the site url and send me an email through this plugin.
