    Hi,

We’ve been using the Event Tickets plugin for several months and it’s worked great! But the “Get Tickets” Button stopped working. When you click the button it now redirects back to the Home page instead of paypal. The Increase/Decrease ticket count redirects to the home page as well.

We noticed it over the weekend (customers complained) and so I checked the plugin. The plugin needed the update since a new release was available so I updated it to 4.11.1, but it did not resolve the issue.
Any help would greatly be appreciated.

    Event Tickets
    Latest Version: 4.11.1

    Thanks,
    Jon Morgan

  • We are experiencing the same issue. Please help!

See my reply to another thread – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/unable-to-increase-event-ticket-from-0/#post-12284703
In our case (https://www.ncta.org), it seems Events Tickets v4.11 and up is all of a sudden incompatible with the WordPress Classic Editor plugin. If I disable that, Events Tickets is working again.

    Hi Carola,
Thanks for the info. I really appreciate it.
I disabled the Classic Editor plugin but sadly that didn’t solve the Event Tickets issue for me. The “Buy Tickets” button and the increase/decrease buttons go directly to the home page.

I’ve been talking to support but haven’t got far with it yet. I ended up putting a temporary fix in place since this was holding up my ticket sales.

My temporary fix is to use another Ticket plugin called “Paypal Events” By Scott Paterson. It’s simple and only took a few mins to setup.
I was able to keep the same Event pages and use the short-code from “Paypal Events” to insert the Buy Ticket(s) section. At least now I can sell tickets again.
I hope Event Tickets can fix the issue for a more long term solution.

    Cheers,
    Jon

Can someone explain to me how to download a prior version if we don’t have the Premium Plug in? Another thread said to roll back, but I can’t see how to do that.

    Hi!

Indeed, there’s a conflict between the Classic Editor plugin and Event Tickets. Our developers are aware of this issue and will work on a fix shortly.

@robinm123: in order to downgrade Event Tickets, you may navigate to the bottom of this page: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/event-tickets/advanced/ and choose the version you’d like to install.
