get two content sliders to display side by side in index.php

I am trying to insert a slideshow using the uBillboard plugin, directly into index.php but I also want another slider, from a different plug in (sugar slider), to appear on the same plane or side by side. But if I put both the <? php the_uds_billboard(name) ?> and <?php echo do_shortcode(‘[sugar_slider id=1]’); ?>, into the index.php they DO both appear, but they are stacked on top of one another. Is there a way to make them both appear side by side? I would love to just use your plug in but two slideshows cannot appear at the same time with uBillboard. Thanks in advance!
