    Hi,

thanks for your question, and sorry for the trouble.

Did you install and activate the TablePress Extension from https://tablepress.org/extensions/datatables-auto-filter/ as well?

    Regards,
    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Not previously, I installed it just now. But the URL parameter still doesn’t do anything. Do you have any other idea what could I do?

    Thanks,
    Natalia

    Hi,

can you please try if the Auto Filter Extension is working by itself, i.e. first without the Shortcode Filter by GET parameter change?

    Tobias

    Hi Tobias,

Yes, the Auto Filter Extension is working.

    Here I have a test table https://uni-foundation.eu/tablepress-test/

When I use this shortcode, it automatically sorts the table using the word there. E.g.:
    [table_filter id=1 filter="inclusion" /]

However, when I just use this shortcode
    [table_filter id=1 /]
and put the parameter to URL e.g.
    https://uni-foundation.eu/tablepress-test/?table_filter=inclusion
    it does not work.

Do you have any idea, what am I doing wrong?

    Thanks,
    Natalia

    Hi Natalia,

that’s strange… If possible, I’d like to take a direct look at this on your site. Could you therefore please get in touchby email (the address is in the main plugin file “tablepress.php”)? That way, I can investigate this directly. Thanks!

    Regards,
    Tobias
