  • Hi,

Did you upgrade either this plugin, another plugin or WordPress itself?

you can also try to turn-on wp_debug or check your php logs to see if there’s any other error.

Nope, the error it shows is this.

im working on 9 similar webs wich all of them have the manager, but on this one while i was changing an option (dont remenber now), it crashed, and since then there is no way to make it work.

Even uninstalling and reinstalleing fails, i also deleted some tables but wasnt enough, i dont know all the things it covers in the database to erase it completelly, any help?

    Hiya,

get_home_path() was the error i was getting.

Can you elaborate on exactly what the error was please?

The get_home_path() function is a Core function and is not called by EM at any point so it’s possible that another plugin is using this function incorrectly.

Have you tried disabling all other plugins/themes to see if the problem persists?

    Thanks,
    Phil

    Hello again.

Havent tried, but with all other plugins and themes the web works.

its only when i try to install again the events manager that it reverts to blank screen.

I started to happen while i was changing options in the events manager btw, but i cant recall what option was.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_home_path() in /usr/home/afagi.org/web/wp-admin/includes/misc.php on line 128

this is the exact errori get when i try to activate the events manager.

its only when i try to install again the events manager that it reverts to blank screen.

That doesn’t necessarily mean it’s EM causing the issue though. It may be that activating EM causes another plugin to do something that triggers the error.

Try deactivating all plugins, then activate only EM and see if the error returns. If not, activate plugins one by one until it does to find the cause.

    Thanks
