get_the_category returns wrong

  • I have a hierarchy in categories like this:

    Products
    -Bentonite
    –Info
    –Photos
    -Barite
    –Info
    –Photos

    When I am currently visiting the main “Barite” category page, using the get_the_category function returns the information of the “Info” child.

    Also there is no post assigned directly to “Barite” and “Bentonite” categories
