get_value() on null error class_security.php

    Since upgrading to v5.7.8 I have been experiencing a fatal PHP error

    [27-Jul-2018 08:21:20 UTC] PHP Fatal error: Call to a member function get_value() on null in …/wp-content/plugins/login-sidebar-widget/includes/class_security.php on line 94

    This error was blocking all logins to the site, regardless of whether they used the plugin. I had to manually remove the plug from the file system to allow admins to login.

    Previous versions of the plugin worked fine.
