Gets the job done but bloats files

There’s some inefficiency about how the plugin works even though it eventually gets the job done. I don’t use the automatic watermark on upload feature because not all images belong to the same photographer. I have a 250 kb limit on uploaded photos. Most times the watermark is not applied on first attempt from the Media Library although another image is generated. But more significantly the images are on average twice or more the size of the original. For example, a 147kb file ended up as 566kb and another of 162kb ended up as 675kb, which is not 100 per cent of the original. Hopefully those issues can be sorted out by the developer.
