Getting 3 images after Smush – want one

    Hi:

    When I upload an image, I get three images on the server:

    Full size: 660 x 440
    Large: 560 x 373
    Broadstreet Business: 600 x 450

    Broadstreet is my ad server.

    How can I get only one image?

    Hi @gwkopy,

    This is not something done by Smush, it actually depends on thumbnail sizes you have defined by your theme, plugins and WordPress itself.

    WordPress works in a way that you can define different image sizes and once you upload your image it will automatically create those thumbnails.
    This is done in that way because if you have 500×200 image field somewhere on your site there’s no need to use full image size inside that field so it uses that thumbnail.
    This reduces page size and with that load time.
