Getting 404 error on page 2, page 3

    Hi,

    I am getting 404 error on all my 2nd and 3rd pages. I have read some post related to this and done a few things that was previously said like deactivating all the plugins, contacting the hosting company etc. But none of them seem to work out. If anyone had this issue previously and now, they have solved it, kindly help me out.

    Hi vishal21334!

    So the basic troubleshooting ( and the super, highly recommended ) method is to deactivate all plugins, and switch to a default, bundled theme like Twenty Fifteen/Sixteen. Essentially trying to reset things back to a zero state so we figure out where the actual issue lies.

    If that resolves the issue you can then active the plugins on by one until the issue appears. If nothing then it means your theme is creating that error.

    what theme are you using?

    have you edited any of the theme’s files?

    what is the full code of the index template index.php?

    have you read https://codex.www.ads-software.com/Pagination ?

    Thank you very much for your comment.

    I have figured out the problem. It was a theme customization problem. After looking for 5 hours non-stop, hopefully, got the solution.

    This problem is solved now.
