    Did you try to refresh permalink (go to Settings > Permalinks and click “Save Changes”)?

    Can you list me which checkboxes are checked in Sublanguage settings under Translate Meta? Did you also make changes in option translations?

    Show slug for main language
    Auto-detect language
    Current language first

    all Translate post types
    all Translate Taxonomies and
    some Translate Meta

    Can you try to uncheck everything and save and see if it works better? But first take a screenshot of the setting screen, or remember which things are checked.

    Hello Maixim,

    I disabled all the translate meta options. but still it does not work.
    The weird thing is that the moment i put the old plugin the language switching works fine.

    I wanted to put the nav items translation option and that is why I updated the plugin.

    Do we need to delete all the old posts which were created with the 1.4.8 plugin? I am just asking this because when we upgrade the plugin to 1.5.1 it stops working.. Whereas a fresh install seems to be working fine.. please help

    I dont think deleting posts will change a thing…

    Maybe the sublangauge options are corrupt. Lets try to reset them. First add this in your function.php:

    update_option('sublanguage_translations', false );
    update_option('sublanguage_options', false );

    Then load any page of the site, just to trigger the code once, and erase it.

    Dont worry it wont actually erase any translations or languages, only options.

    I put these two lines of code in functions.php
    and run a page..
    when this code is put, the language switch options only don’t come..

    and after loading 2-3 pages i removed this code.
    but still the error is the same..

    Well, sorry, no more idea.

    Maybe try to refresh permalinks once again…

    You’ve probably better to revert to 1.4.9 and wait for I find a fix for this issue…
