I have set up network on with the theme “X”. when I add a site i get the message below when I try to go to the dashboard or site.
    ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED
    Hide details
The server at sports.mcratemedia.com can’t be found, because the DNS lookup failed. DNS is the network service that translates a website’s name to its Internet address. This error is most often caused by having no connection to the Internet or a misconfigured network. It can also be caused by an unresponsive DNS server or a firewall preventing Google Chrome from accessing the network.

  • All domain names that you use in the multisite must have either A/AAAA or CNAME records in the relevant DNS zone. Otherwise, the browser won’t be able to translate the domain name to an IP address and reach the web server that hosts your multisite.

…and you’ll want to access your DNS settings manager at your hosting company and add a CNAME record for “sports” that points to mcratemedia.com.

Once you add your CNAME record, it should resolve correctly depending on whether or not your multisite is set up for subdomains and not subdirectories.
