I am trying to have a different sidebar display on the event pages, but cannot for the life of me get it to that – it keeps displaying my default sidebar. I created an event-sidebar in sidebars with the event list widget in it, but where do I set it to appear on the event pages??? I do not see an event page template.

I am using Bimber for my theme and everything is the latest versions.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @labeshops,

First I would recommend you to read the following article, so that you know how to make changes to our templates safely.

    https://theeventscalendar.com/knowledgebase/k/customizing-template-files-2/

After that if you look create a file [your-theme]/tribe/events/v2/default-template.php you should be able to make changes if you are using the settings like the following:

Let me know if the above make sense.

I installed a custom sidebar plugin and have gotten the correct one set for each individual event page now, but cannot figure out how to set it on the main events page itself since it is not a page that shows in the posts or pages sections where I would be able to select the customs sidebar. You can see the right sidebar here https://scifispace.com/scifi-con/the-batman/ but that it is showing the one from my archive page section on the main events page here https://scifispace.com/scifi-conventions/

I selected the default page template in for the events template.

    Thanks!

Would you mind sharing the code for both files?

A good place to share these is https://gist.github.com/ it will require you to have an account on GitHub but allows you to share multiple files at at time.

With those files I can try to point you in the correct direction.
