Getting an Email Address before downloading a file

  • I am looking for a simple solution whereby someone has to provide their name and email address before they can download a file off my site.

    I have tried the ’email before download’ plugin but one of the pre-requisite plugins (Download Monitor) is no longer available. NB – there are two similar named plugins available but they do not work with ‘Email Before Download’.

    There must be a simple way of doing this surely??
