Getting Author Information to work

I am creating a theme based on the shape theme. I have it working pretty well except for the when clicking on the author link. When I click on the author link it goes to the 404 page. It is looking for a feed for all posts or comments by that author and cannot find it.

I have do not seem to have set the feed up. How do I set the feeds up for posts, comments, etc.
